Whoever believes that has associated partners with Allah—may Allah protect us and the believers. Rather, it is a representation, for everything Allah created points to Allah, let alone the birth of the Lord Messiah from Mary, which Allah made a parable struck for people so they may infer the Inward (al-Bāṭin) by it, according to the saying of our Master in the Sermon of the Regions: 'I am the Mahdi of the time, I am the Jesus of the age.' Meaning, he is the significance of the parable struck by the manifestation of Jesus... and Allah knows best.

And He (the Almighty) has indicated her transcendence and the transcendence of all manifestations of the worlds of light from femininity in Surah al-Najm, saying:

{Indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter name the angels with female names. And they have no knowledge thereof. They follow not except assumption, and indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. So turn away from him who turns his back on Our reminder and desires not except the life of this world. That is their sum of knowledge.} (Al-Najm: 27-30)."

Similarly is the saying of the Almighty in Surah al-Zukhruf:

{And they made the angels, who are the servants of the Most Merciful, females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned.} (Al-Zukhruf: 19)
