And the Almighty said:

{And Mary, the daughter of ʿImrān, who guarded her chastity (farjahā), so We breathed into it from Our Spirit} (Al-Taḥrīm: 12).

And that is to indicate that she guarded the manifestation of her essence (ẓuhūr dhātihā) from what is unbefitting for it of words and deeds.

As for "the Breath" (al-Nafkha), it is the Name’s (al-Ism) honoring of the Gate (al-Bāb) with spiritual support (madad) and luminous mingling, because the honoring of the Gate's rank through some of the occurrences of the Veil (al-Ḥijāb) has been perpetual and everlasting.

As for the meaning of "her pregnancy" (ḥamlihā), it is to indicate her acceptance of the Call (al-daʿwa) and her belief in the words of her Lord and His books; and that the "Blower" here is the Greatest Name, by the will of its Meaning (Maʿnā) and its support for it.

Indeed, the statement that the one who breathed into Mary was Gabriel is like the statement that the one who sent down the revelation to Muhammad (PBUH) was Gabriel, and just as it is said that Ali takes his knowledge from Muhammad.
