And His saying in Surah al-Anʿām:

{...and they falsely attributed to Him sons and daughters without knowledge. Exalted is He and high above what they describe. [He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing.} (Al-Anʿām: 100-101).

And His saying in Surah al-Muʾminūn:

{Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe.} (Al-Muʾminūn: 91).

And such are many verses that indicate the transcendence of the Executors (Awṣiyāʾ) and Prophets above [physical] lineages.

Among the exemplary images (al-ṣuwar al-mathaliyya) is the saying of the Almighty in Surah al-Anbiyāʾ:

{And [remember] her who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her through Our Spirit and We made her and her son a sign for the worlds.} (Al-Anbiyāʾ: 91).

The meaning of the 'Sign' (al-Āya) is: the mark that points to the inward meanings (al-maʿānī al-bāṭina)."
