The evidence for this is what was reported in the book Ḥaqāʾiq Asrār al-Dīn (The Realities of the Secrets of Religion), through the chain of transmission from Ibn Ṣadaqa, on the authority of our Master ʿAlī al-Riḍā (peace be upon him), who said: 'The people stood facing the House [the Kaʿba], and my Master said: There remains for Iblīs no idol on earth worshipped besides Allah except this House.'
Our Master al-Jannān al-Janbulānī also stated this meaning in his book titled Īḍāḥ al-Miṣbāḥ (The Clarification of the Lamp), where he says: 'Allah the Almighty commanded Abraham to raise the foundations of the House, so he raised them to the height of a man’s stature...' up to his saying: 'And there remained on earth no idol worshipped besides Allah other than it.'
No idol remained to be worshipped Whoever offered a sacrifice to a shrine
From Kitāb al-Taʾyīd (The Book of Support) regarding the Specific Monotheism, by Sheikh Muḥammad al-Kalāzī—may Allah sanctify him—is a question concerning the idols of Iblīs that were worshipped of old: Does anything remain of them or not?
The response on the authority of al-Mufaḍḍal ibn ʿUmar is that he said: I asked my Master al-Sādiq about that, and he said to me:
"Do you not look at this structure toward which circumambulation is performed from all directions and regions, while they claim it is the House of Allah? Yet, it is the head of disbelief and the instrument of idols.
