"Do not think that without the knowledge of the Names you shall enter the enclosure of Heaven; rather, the Names are the cause for ascent and the means to entrance. So contemplate them with sound hearts and upright intentions."
He also established, saying:
"Know that the preceding masters from the men of this House established their foundation upon the knowledge of the Form (maʿrifat al-ṣūra), and they have not ceased to be in scrutiny and investigation until they distinguished the Presence of the Essence (Ḥaḍrat al-Dhāt) from the Presence of the Names and Attributes (Ḥaḍrat al-Asmāʾ wa al-Ṣifāt), and they assigned to every spiritual essence (dhāt maʿnawiyya) a Form (ṣūra) to serve as its sign and its guide. Thus, in their view, the Spirit became a form, the Intellect a form, Faith a form, Disbelief a form, Truth a form, Falsehood a form, Paradise a form, Hell a form, Adam a form, Iblis a form, the Jinn a form, and Humanity a form. This applied to the universals of what is known and the particulars of what is seen.
