"Two others, who were criminals, were led away to be put to death with him. And when they came to the place that is called The Skull [Golgotha], there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on his right and one on his left."
And in the Gospel of Luke: His saying:
"Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, 'Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit!' And having said this, he breathed his last."
Similar to it in the Acts of the Apostles:
"But Peter and the apostles answered, 'We must obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging him on a tree [wood]. God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.'"
Cursed by God is everyone who is hung on a tree (The Torah).
I say: Indeed, Lord Christ annulled the Outward (Zahir) of the Mosaic Law to teach us the rejection of the Outward which the people of disbelief and misguidance believe in; and he was crucified on the wood because of that, so that the rejection of the Outward would be confirmed for us.
And among what Peter said: "God must be obeyed more than men."
