{And they made the angels, who are servants of the Most Merciful, females} (Al-Zukhruf: 19).

And the saying of the Almighty in Surah al-Najm:

{Indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter surely name the angels with female names} (Al-Najm: 27).

And His saying in Surah al-An’am:

{ And they falsely attributed to Him sons and daughters without knowledge. Exalted is He and high above what they describe. Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He has no companion [consort]?} (Al-An’am: 100–101).

And His saying:

{Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One"}... etc.

I say: This indicates His transcendence—Exalted is He—in all human Manifestations (Zuhurat), for He—Glory be to Him—did not see [possess] a companion, children, daughters, fatherhood, procreation, or [anything] other than that from which He described Himself in His Mighty Book—such as hearing, sight, the self (nafs), the two hands, the face, and so forth—except only in the human Manifestations (al-Zuhurat al-Bashariyya).

Similar to it is the saying of the Almighty on the tongue of His Prophet Noah—peace be upon him:
