And the Almighty said, informing of the lie of Joseph's brothers to their father Jacob—peace be upon them:

{They said: "O our father, indeed we went racing and left Joseph with our possessions, and a wolf ate him; but you would not believe us, even if we were truthful." And they brought his shirt with false blood (dam kadhib). He said: "Rather, your souls have enticed you to a matter; so patience is most fitting. And Allah is the one sought for help against that which you describe."} (Yusuf: 17-18).

Yet the Almighty said regarding the condemnation of liars:

{So do not obey the deniers [liars].} (Al-Qalam: 8)."

And the Almighty said: {Woe, that Day, to the deniers [liars]} (Al-Mursalat: 15)—repeated ten times in a single Surah. And the Almighty said: {Have you seen the one who denies the Religion? [or the Day of Recompense]} (Al-Ma'un: 1).

And the Almighty said: {Woe, that Day, to the deniers. Those who deny the Day of Recompense. And none denies it except every sinful transgressor.} (Al-Mutaffifin: 10-12).
