"When Adam passed away and his progeny were righteous, Seth, his successor (Wasi), remained unable to manifest the religion of Allah which Adam and his righteous progeny had followed. This was because Cain threatened to kill him just as he had killed his brother Abel (Habil). So, he [Seth] moved among them with Dissimulation and concealment. Consequently, they increased in misguidance every day until the Successor reached an island in the sea where he worshipped Allah and the Exalted [decided] to send the Messengers. If these ignorant people were asked, they would say: 'The matter has already been concluded.' But they have lied; rather, it is a matter that Allah judges anew in every year...

Were it not for the sake of brevity, I would have included the reports mentioned by the author of the Book of Admonition (Kitab al-Tanbih) and other narrations concerning the establishment of Dissimulation (Taqiya), but I have omitted them for the sake of conciseness.

This is the conclusion of what I intended to provide regarding this meaning. So, reflect upon it, O seeker; look and contemplate.
