but whoever drops anything of the Outward from himself without a command from Allah or a proof from Him has indeed associated with Allah that for which He sent down no authority. As for the disbeliever, the Inward is dropped from him, and his refuge is Hell, abiding therein forever. Thus, the Inward is Mercy and the Outward is Punishment.
What further proves that it is not permissible for us to drop any of the Outward obligations among the Opposites (Al-Addad) until the Rise of the Mahdi (Al-Qa’im)—peace be from him—appears to us, is what was reported and established by Sheikh Muhammad al-Kalazi (may Allah sanctify him) in the book Al-Ta’yid (The Support), stating:
"A question regarding the saying of our Master Ja'far al-Sadiq, who said: 'Whoever unties a knot before the one who tied it unties it, the beasts shall eat him and the wolves shall maul him and the vermin of the earth shall tear him apart, and Allah shall return him as a crude desert-dweller (A’rabiyan), a new creation.
The answer—and with Allah is success—is as follows: When Moses came, he abrogated (naskha) the law of Abraham and made lawful what Abraham had forbidden. When Jesus came, he changed, substituted, and abrogated the law of Moses. When Muhammad came, he changed, substituted, and abrogated what Moses and Jesus had brought, among others. Yet, Moses is Jesus, and Jesus is Muhammad; there is no difference between them.
