"Know that Allah has manifested a matter for you and has entrusted you with a covenant concerning the sparing of your blood and He entrusted you with His secret and commanded you to guard it until a crier cries out and a summoner calls to Him. That is His saying: {Then complete the fast until the night} (Al-Baqarah: 187).
This is an explanation from Him: the meaning of Fasting is Dissimulation (Taqiya), and Breaking the Fast (Iftar) is the conversation and remembrance among the brothers. The [final] Breaking of the Fast is the emergence from Dissimulation.
Among what he also reported in this book is the saying of the Sublime: {Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will be judged with a light account and return to his people in happiness. But as for he who is given his record behind his back, he will cry out for destruction and burn in a Blaze} (Al-Inshiqaq: 7-12).
This refers to the Outward (Zahir). The believers are necessarily bound by both the Outward and the Inward. Whoever establishes [the Outward] shall be with us in the Highest Heavens ('Illiyyin),
