When we reflected upon this report, contemplated it, and understood it, we deduced [the identity of] the wise man by what appears of his actions. We contemplated the word of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and found Him saying:

{Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a timed book} (An-Nisa: 103).

And Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: {And enjoin prayer upon your family and be steadfast therein} (Taha: 132).

And the Blessed and Exalted said: {Successful indeed are the believers, those who are humble in their prayer} (Al-Mu'minun: 1-2).

And He said: {And mention in the Book, Ishmael; indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet. And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakat and was pleasing to his Lord} (Maryam: 54-55).

And the Mighty and Majestic said: {And whatever the Messenger gives you, take it; and whatever he forbids you, abstain from it} (Al-Hashr: 7).

And He said: {He who obeys the Messenger has indeed obeyed Allah} (An-Nisa: 80).
