(Mathaba). He recited for the one seeking forgiveness and requesting resignation [from sin] the saying of the Almighty: {And [remember] when We made the House a place of return for the people} (Al-Baqarah: 125). So they took refuge in the Throne (Al-Arsh) and requested resignation, and He accepted their resignation.

The Frequented House (Al-Bayt al-Ma’mur) was placed below the Throne in the seventh heaven, joined to the Upper World (Al-Alam al-Ulwi); thus it was named the Frequented House. It is below the Throne, and into it enter seventy thousand angels every day who never return1 to it again. This House and the earth opposite it were a refuge for the human world.
