Sheikh Husayn Mayhub said, praising the family of al-Salih, including:

Habib and a servant ('Abd) of the Generous One, both of them

a valiant Imam, his remembrance is fragrant and dewy I ally with them out of love and submit obediently

to them, and by what they profess, I profess and follow

Sheikh Ahmad Muhammad Haydar said in a long poem, praising Sheikh 'Id al-Salih and his sons:

And by you I repel the adversaries, and in you

I meet the reckoning on the Day of Reckoning And your allegiance is my sufficiency, and my intent is your call

in it I meet God on the day of my affliction

And the Sheikh also said in praise:

A house in which the seas of knowledge are overflowing and possessing luminous banners of guidance

Do not wonder at what I say, for

I see the world in it embracing the Hereafter

And Sheikh Ibrahim Sa'ud Halabku said when he visited the house of Sheikh 'Id al-Salih and his sons:
