The erudite Sheikh Sulayman al-Ahmad said, praising Sheikh Habib Eid al-Salih, may God sanctify them both:

Say to creation: they have known the fathers in Adam through Habib 'Id al-Salih If he passes my eye,

my heart is my onlooker

so in both states, I am in bliss

Sheikh Mahmud Dib 'Ali said, praising Sheikh 'Id al-Salih and his sons, including:

How excellent they all are, from a father

to sons, people of guidance and erudition

Their love is in God, and in Him is their hatred

not for wealth, gain, or kinship
