You shall not give him your money for usury, nor lend him your food for profit."
And similar to it is his saying in the thirtieth chapter of Proverbs: "Remove far from me falsehood and lies; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the bread of my portion (Khubz Faridati), lest I be full [and deny You [God] and say: 'Who is the Lord?' or lest I become poor and steal and take the name of my God in vain."
Allah the Almighty said regarding this meaning: {And if Allah had extended provision for His servants, they would have committed tyranny throughout the earth} (Ash-Shura: 27).
Meaning: if He had commanded them with the Outward (Al-Zahir), they would have disbelieved in the human manifestation (Al-Thuhur al-Bashari). This is in the sense of the Almighty's saying: {you do not wrong, nor are you wronged. And if [the debtor] is in hardship, then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease} (Al-Baqarah: 279-280).
That is: you do not wrong by an addition to your wealth, nor are you wronged by a decrease from it. The intent of "the one in hardship" (Dhu 'Usrah) is the weak one who is unable to teach disciples the inward gnostic sciences or to profess Monotheism (Al-Tawhid) like others [do].
The intent of His saying: {then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease} is: be gentle by delaying him until the time of ease,
