It also illustrates the necessity of submitting the affairs of those with limited understanding to those who possess greater knowledge, for that is more mandatory and proper.
Among the proofs for the censure of the Outward Sciences—which [the commoners] believe in—and the prohibition of adopting them as faith is the saying of the Almighty in Surah Aal-Imran:
{O you who have believed, do not consume usury (Riba), doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may succeed} (130).
And His saying in Surah Al-Baqarah:
{Those who consume usury cannot stand except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity... [until His saying] ... Allah destroys usury and gives increase for charities. And Allah does not love any sinning disbeliever... [until His saying]: O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of usury, if you should be believers. And if you do not, then be informed of a war [against you] from Allah and His Messenger. But if you repent, you may have your principal—thus you do no wrong, nor are you wronged. And if someone is in hardship, then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease. And if you give [it as] charity, it is better for you, if you only knew} (Al-Baqarah 275-280).
Capitals [Wealth].. Bread... Subsistence (Kafaf).. One in hardship.. And one in ease.. Usury (Riba).
