3 - Al-Jawharah al-Diniyyah [The Religious Jewel]¹.

Al-Jawharah al-Diniyyah is a rare masterpiece in which its author, the erudite scholar—may God sanctify him—roamed in his gnostic unveilings (Kushuf 'Irfaniyyah) and his inspirational illuminations (Ishraqat Ilhamiyyah). It investigates the Arabic letters, their diacritical dots, and their meanings, especially the Lam-Alif. Our Master (Mawlana), the Commander of the Faithful, from whom is mercy, alluded to this: "I am the wrapped Alif, I am the secret of the letters." And the Master al-Sadiq alluded to it by his saying: "Every book has an elite essence (Safwah), and the elite essence of this book is the letters of spelling (Huruf al-Tahajji)."

And he, from whom is mercy, said: "Indeed, the disjointed letters (al-Huruf al-Muqatta'ah) in the Quran are indications of Oneness (Wahdaniyyah), Singularity (Fardaniyyah), Perpetuity (Daymumiyyah), and the Truth's self-subsistence (Qiyam al-Haqq binafsih), dispensing with all besides Him."
