Vowing an offering to the shrine (Maqam)..... Wealth... The salty water and the sweet (Euphrates).. Dissimulation (Taqiyyah).

Among what confirms and establishes the negation of the outward obligations (Al-Fara'id al-Zahira) and the affirmation of their inward [realities] is what was narrated in the book Realities of the Secrets of Religion (Haqa'iq Asrar al-Din), in the chapter on the obligation of dissimulation (Taqiya), the concealment of faith, and the performance of outward deeds, regarding the explicit rejection of the Outward House (Al-Bayt al-Zahir), which is This [is it]: Muhammad ibn al-Basri narrated to me, from al-Basri, who said: Muhammad ibn al-‘Ala narrated to me, from Isma’il ibn ‘Ali al-Qummi, from ibn Sadaqah, from [Imam] al-Rida, who said: The people stood facing the House [the Kaaba], and my Master said: "There remains for Iblis no idol on earth to be worshipped besides Allah except this House."

Al-Sayyid al-Janan has graced us by clarifying this meaning through what he cited in the book Idah al-Misbah (Clarification of the Lamp), saying: "Allah the Almighty commanded Abraham to raise the foundations of the House, so he raised them to the height of a man..." up to his saying: "and there remains on earth no idol worshipped besides Allah other than it."

And regarding Sheikh Muhammad al-Kalazi al-Antaki, he posed a question concerning the idols of Iblis that they used to worship of old: does anything of them remain or not?
