son of the reverend Sheikh Muhammad bin Sheikh Hasan Ibrahim al-Tanukhi, son of Prince Raiq bin Sayf al-Din Abi al-Hasan Prince 'Ali bin 'Isa al-Jisri, the Kinanite, the Kalbite, son of the Sheikh—may God illuminate his face—who is considered the second of the two of the Khasibi Path (Tariqah) alongside the Aleppan savior Muhammad bin 'Ali al-Jilli al-Tanukhi (may his spirit be sanctified).

His Birth

He was born—may God sanctify him—in the year 1304 AH in Qal' al-Dulaybat, which was called the "Mountainous Ship," as the Qal' (citadel) is bordered by Harf al-Musaytirah to the south, al-Budi to the west, and Bisin to the north.

His Death: He passed away—may God forgive him—in the year 1376 AH at the age of seventy-two years, and was buried in the Dome Complex (Majma' al-Qibab) in the Qal' named after his father, the erudite Sheikh 'Abd al-Salih, may God Almighty sanctify them both.

May God send blessings upon the Baqi' in Karbala

And upon your Baqi', O beloved of His servants1
