and neglect those people? For it has been announced to us that in China there are people who have heard mention of Muhammad, yet no messenger has come to them with this meaning. Rather, the Creator—Almighty—manifests in every race to indicate His existence; He is not denied by the variation of laws and manifestations. Do you not see that He appeared to the Persians as Kaham, permitting for them what was forbidden in these [other] laws, then He vanished into the Fire, and so they venerate it until now?
