He pointed to this meaning in Surat Ibrahim by His Glory’s saying:

{Have you not seen how God sets forth a parable: a good word like a good tree, its root is firm and its branch is in the sky? It yields its fruit at all times by the permission of its Lord. And God sets forth parables for the people that perhaps they will remember. And the parable of an evil word is like an evil tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, having no stability. God keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And God sends astray the wrongdoers. And God does what He wills. Have you not seen those who exchanged the favor of God for disbelief and settled their people in the abode of ruin? [It is] Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the settlement.} (Ibrahim: 24-29)

This indicates that His Almighty’s intent by these parables is to point toward esoteric meanings and persons, and nothing else.

He, Glory be to Him, has alerted us to what He intended by His discourse—the knowledge of the praised and the blamed—by His representation of the "Good Word" as the "Good Tree" and the "Evil Word" as the "Evil Tree." This is because He, Glory be to Him, does not describe anything with "good speech" unless He intends thereby praised persons or divine knowledges; the same applies to the "evil" [word]—likeness for likeness and measure for measure.
