wait for anything except its fulfillment (Ta’wil)? The Day its fulfillment comes, those who had forgotten it before will say, "The messengers of our Lord had come with the truth, so are there [now] any intercessors to intercede for us or could we be sent back to do other than what we used to do?"} (Al-A'raf: 50–53)

And this indicates that their interpretation of these five limits (al-Hudud al-Khamsah) and others is not truth; rather, the truth is what the Messengers brought of the esoteric indications (al-Isharat al-Batinah) which are the firm word (al-Qawl al-Thabit) that does not change, as He Almighty pointed to it by His saying: {No change is there in the words of God} (Yunus: 64).

And by His Glory’s saying in Surat al-A'raf: {And We wrote for him on the tablets of everything an instruction and an explanation for all things; so take them with strength and command your people to take the best of them} (Al-A'raf: 145). What is intended by "the best of them" is their esoteric [meaning], just as what is intended by "the tablets" is the manifestations (al-Zuhurat) and instructions, and "the explanation" is the sayings and actions which the Messengers manifested to the people.
