Introduction by the Scholar and Poet, Ahmad As'ad Al-Harah
[Preface]
By the monotheist Arab poet, Sheikh "Ahmad As'ad Al-Harah"
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
And indeed, I seek the light from those
who are crowned there in the domes.
Of the scholars, from five trustworthy ones
their beloved is the beloved of God among us.
Had God chosen for Himself a people
they would have been among the chosen peoples.
And then... If Al-Fatihah (The Opening) is the Mother of the Book (Umm al-Kitab), then the opening of Al-Fatihah is the Basmalah, and its foundation is the Point (Nuqtah). And the Commander of the Faithful Ali, peace be from him, said: [I am the Point].
And since He, the Exalted, clarified the esoteric meaning (Ma'nawiyyah) of this point between the pronoun of manifestation (Zuhur) "I" and the pronoun of the unseen (Ghayb) "He," that is His saying upon the pulpit of His greatness: [I am (the meaning of) He.. in the Book of God].
