And fasting is a true silence In which there is no 'he said' and 'it was said'
And this is supported by His Almighty's saying in Surat Al-A'raf: {And remember your Lord within yourself in humility and in fear, and without loudness.} (Al-A'raf: 205).
And His Almighty's saying: {When he called to his Lord a hidden call.} (Maryam: 3).
And His, Mighty and Majestic, saying in Surat Aal 'Imran, pointing to the days: {He said, "Your sign is that you will not speak to the people for three days except by symbol."} (Aal 'Imran: 41).
And His, Glory be to Him, saying in Surat Maryam, pointing to the nights, He said: {He said, "Your sign is that you will not speak to the people for three nights, being sound."} (Maryam: 10).
And the people of monotheism have also established that the name of fasting may be applied to the fourth rank of the ranks of the chiefs, and they are seventy-five saints, the closest of them to God in means is Ubayy bin Ka'b, peace be upon him.
And among what the people of the exoteric also believe is that the name of fasting is applied to refraining from journeying, which is, according to their opinion, the absence of the apparent travel that they claim.
