than a thousand units of prayer from one who is not a scholar."

[36] And he, may His might be glorified, said: "Seek knowledge, even in China and the China of China."

[37] And he, may His might be glorified, said: "Travel, and you will gain," meaning knowledge.

[38] And our Master Al-Sadiq, may His might be glorified, said: "He who revives knowledge has not died, and he who possesses comprehension has not become poor."

[39] And Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn Al-Mufaddal, peace be upon him, said: "Seek knowledge from the scholars with gentleness and affection, for knowledge is provision. Take the signs of your religion from your scholar who is more knowledgeable than you. And let the one among you who is most knowledgeable of God speak with the knowledge of God. And reflect on the kingdom of God and His knowledge so that the devil may flee from you.
