glorification, searching for it is jihad, teaching it to one who does not know it is charity, and giving it to its people is closeness (to God), because it is the signs of what is lawful and what is unlawful, the dwellings of the people of Paradise, a comfort from loneliness, and a companion in strangeness, and the conversationalist in solitude, and the guide in ease and hardship, and the weapon against enemies, and the adornment in the presence of friends, and the near one to the distant.

By it, God raises nations, making them leaders of guidance in goodness, who are followed in Paradise, whose footsteps are pursued, whose actions are emulated, whose friendship is desired by the angels, and whom they touch with their wings.

And everything moist and dry seeks forgiveness for them, even the fish in the sea and its creatures, and the beasts of the earth and its cattle, because it is the life of hearts from ignorance, and the lamp of eyes from darkness. By it, the fortunate are inspired, and by it, the wretched are deprived.
