I said: "So what about the Eid?" He said: "It is a door from the doors of unveiling."

I said: "So what about the sermon?" He said: "His call to his companions, so we obligated ourselves to acknowledge servitude to him."

I said: "The dispersal (an-nafr)?" He said: "He called the servants with himself to himself and his addressing them."

I said: "The prayer before the sermon at the standing place to Arafat?" He said: "Indeed, God appeared among them at Mina and manifested the person of the Veil at Arafat."

I said: "So what is the meaning of the sacrifice (an-naḥr)?" He said: "Yes, indeed, God our Master called creation in the first beginning to Himself, and they responded. Then He called them to the knowledge of the Veil, but they refused, so He turned them back on their heels and swore by Himself that He would return them in denial to the place of the call and the manifestation every year, so He would make them taste in it the heat of iron, and that is the sacrifice."
