So the face is the person of the Mim, may His might be glorified, because he is the Face of God, esteemed by Him, and the most eminent of His creation to Him. And about him, the Eternal, may His praise be glorified, says:
{"and he was eminent in the sight of God."} 1
And the meaning of the word 'was' is that he was before the separation and the creation of creation. And in him are five openings: two eyes, two nostrils, and a mouth, a sign of the Mim's manifestation in five individuals. And the meaning of your introducing the water into your mouth when you rinse, for the mouth is the person of the letter Fa (ف). And in it is the tongue that speaks the Oneness of God. From the mouth, all good things originated, such as bearing witness to God's Oneness with the tongue, reciting the Quran, and the various arts of knowledge. Likewise, from the Fa burst forth the fountains of majesty, which are the three Has (ح).
