Chapter Three: Gnosis of the Esoteric Aspect of Prayer
[20] Our master the Messenger, may His might be glorified, said: "Whoever has no prayer has no religion." And God Almighty said: "Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers at specified times." 1 And may His praise be glorified, He said: "And establish prayer and give zakat." 2 And may He be glorified and exalted, He said: "He has succeeded who purifies himself, and remembers the name of his Lord, and prays." 3 As for the inner reality of the five prayers, it is in the knowledge of the five individuals, who are: "Muhammad, Fatir, Al-Hasan, Al-Husayn, and Muhsin." These are five prayers at five times. The first time, "Zhuhr" (Noon), is a sign pointing to Master Muhammad
The second time, "Al-Asr" (Afternoon), is a sign pointing to Master Fatir, because he is one of the individuals of the "Mim."
