We accepted it only as a purification (Tazkiyah) for you, without having any need for it. Now you have seen the Power of Allah and what He has manifested of His Sovereignty (Mulk).

O Abu Salit! Indeed, beyond this world of yours, We possess seventy worlds—rather, seventy thousand worlds like this world of yours, seventy thousand times over. Our Power within them is absolute, and Our Decree within them is executed. Would you like Me to show them to you, O Abu Salit?"

He replied: "Your favor encompasses us."

Then our Master passed His hand over the face of Abu Salit, and over our faces after him. We then saw those worlds He had mentioned, to the very last of them, without missing a single thing. We were beholding them and verifying them with our own eyes. Abu Salit was lost in wonder and could not utter a single word. Then our Master veiled them from us and said to Abu Salit: "Load your camels and the beasts of burden you have with you—and what we have—and hire [more] to carry all of this. Take it to Khorasan and distribute it among our Shias."
