He said: "O Dawud, listen and comprehend:

Indeed, Adam is My Name and My Veil; the 'Adams' of My creation are the permanent [manifestation] within them, apparent.

He is Noah, who revealed My command to My Friends (Awliya') and called them to the recognition (al-Iqrar) of Me and My Oneness; My Friends hastened [to Me] without compulsion, and I drowned the compelled.

He is Idris, who ascended in My Kingdom (Malakut) and established its celestial spheres by My command; He illuminated its stars and gave light to its sun and moon, and made known to the creatures My command regarding their fortunes and misfortunes.
