with kindness toward his brother, Allah’s kindness shall reach him; and whoever covers the faults of a believer, Allah shall deliver him from affliction when it was due to befall him."

[168] And from our Master Al-'Alim [The Sage/The Knower] (Mighty is His Might), who said: "A believer should feel ashamed to have a servant for himself while his brother is in need of someone to serve him; rather, he should send [his servant] to him morning and evening to wash his clothes, prepare his bed, and cook his food."

And he was asked about the seal of faith (khatimat al-iman), and he replied:

"The satisfaction of the brethren (Rida al-ikhwan)."

[169] And He [the Master] (Mighty is His Might) said:

"The furthest a servant can be from Allah is when he becomes undutiful to his parents and distances his brethren."

[170] And He (Mighty is His Might) said:

"No brotherhood is sound until it establishes fatherhood (ubuwwah); for every brotherhood is subject to separation except the brotherhood of faith (ukhuwwat al-iman).
