[153] Al-Sarraj narrated to me, from Al-Riyahi and Abu Sa’id, who said: ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to me, from Muhammad ibn Sinan, from Al-Mufaddal, from Jabir ibn ‘Abdullah (peace be upon them), who said:

"Abu Khalid passed through one of the streets of Medina and heard screaming coming from one of the houses. He turned toward them and asked about their condition, only to learn that the house had collapsed upon its inhabitants, among whom were five children.

He entered the residence and stood over the fallen house; he began to strike the wall of the house with his hand, making it stand up by its own essence (bi-dhatihi). It stood upright until he had raised all of its walls. Behold! Its inhabitants, who were beneath it, were [still] reclining in their beds; they had felt no pain, nor did they even know that the house had fallen.

They woke them and asked about their condition, but they did not recognize any harm that had befallen them.
