Seek him out, for you shall find with him all you desire of the landmarks of your religion."

I found none with this description except Muhammad ibn Nusayr, so I followed him and found with him all that I desired. I then entered upon our Master [the Imam] and informed him that I saw no one with that description but Muhammad ibn Nusayr. He said:

"You have been guided, and your guidance is only through Allah." Then he added: "Muhammad ibn Nusayr is my Light, my Gate (Babi), and my Proof (Hujjati) over my creation. Everything he says on my behalf is the truth concerning me, and his Orphans (Aytam) are likewise."

[144] And from ‘Ali ibn ‘Abd al-Ghaffar, who said: When the talk regarding Muhammad ibn Nusayr increased, I wrote to our Master Al-Hasan al-Askari, Mighty is His Might: "O our Master, indeed Muhammad ibn Nusayr says great things (al-‘aza’im) regarding you; he claims that you are Lords (Arbab) and that he is a Gate (Bab) for you. So inform me of what is with you, O my Master, that I may act accordingly.
