[142] And from Muhammad ibn ‘Abdullah ibn Mihran, from Muhammad ibn Sinan (peace be upon him), that he heard Al-Rida, Mighty is His Might, saying:
"No one has stood in the station of Abu al-Khattab, Al-Mufaddal, and Muhammad ibn al-Mufaddal for us, except for ‘Umar ibn al-Furat. He is my Gate (Babi), and his Orphans (Aytam) are my Lights."

[143] From ‘Ali ibn Hassan—who is trustworthy among the People of Oneness (Ahl al-Tawhid) and not accused [of falsehood]—who said: I asked my Master Al-Askari, Mighty is His Might: "From whom shall I take the landmarks of my religion, for the [conflicting] doctrines have multiplied?"
He [the Imam] replied:
"Seek it from the one whom the Nasiba (enemies of the House) accuse of Rafd (heresy/rejection), whom the Muqassira (short-comers/moderates) accuse of Ghuluw (extremism), and who is envied and declared an infidel by the Murtafi’a (those of high rank/rivals).
