If you see Abu al-Khattab, say to him: 'You are the Ship, and the King is 'Isa ibn Musa.'"
[134] And from Husayn ibn Muhammad ibn 'Umar al-Bazzaz, from his father, from Kumayt ibn Wazi', from Abu Kahmash, who said: I heard Al-Sadiq Ja’far, Mighty is His Might, saying:
"Abu al-Khattab is my Gate (Babi), my Proof (Hujjati), and my Light (Nuri); and his five Orphans (Aytam) are my Proofs and my Lights upon my earth."
Chapter: The Explicit Text and Indication regarding Al-Mufaddal ibn 'Umar.
[135] Muhammad ibn Musa narrated to us, from Al-Karkhi, from Isma’il ibn Sadaqah, who said: Al-Rida, Mighty is His Might, said:
"Al-Mufaddal is a light within the darknesses; he is the Lamp kindled from a blessed tree—an olive, neither of the East nor of the West. Whoever seeks illumination through him is guided, and whoever turns his back upon him has strayed."
