[127] And from Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Buzuri, from 'Amr ibn Shamir, from Al-Sadiq, Mighty is His Might, that he said:

"Yahya ibn Umm al-Tawil al-Thamali is the Sovereign of his time (Sahib Zamanihi), the Greatest Gate of the House (Bab al-Bayt al-Akbar), and the Proof (Al-Hujjah) in his era. He called unto the Truth and crushed the head of infidelity; and his Orphans (Aytam) are the truthful Proofs of Allah."

[128] And from Muhammad ibn 'Amir, Isma'il al-Qummi, and 'Ali ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Qays Watin al-Tamimi, who said: Yahya ibn Umm al-Tawil (peace be upon him) entered upon Al-Baqir, Mighty is His Might, and Al-Baqir said to him:

"You have indeed been granted the Knowledge of Deaths (Al-Manaya) and the Knowledge of Trials (Al-Balaya); therefore, do not speak to the people except in symbols (ramzan)."
