[87] It was narrated that 'Abdullah ibn Saba (peace be upon him) was asked: "By what did you attain this station from your Master (Mawla)?" He replied: "I have never been in any state and asked Him to move me from it to another until He was the one to initiate that for me, nor have I ever preferred anyone over Him."
[88] It was narrated that there was a man in Egypt of whom it was said that he knew The Greatest Name of Allah (Ism Allah al-A'zam). A youth among those who used to visit him said to him: "O uncle, it has reached me that you know the Greatest Name of Allah; if only you would ask Him to remove this affliction from you." He replied to him: "O son of my brother, He is the One who afflicted me, and I would loathe to oppose Him in His action."
[89] And from The Knower (Al-'Alim), Mighty is His Might, that he said: "Safety lies in Submission (Al-Taslim)."
[90] And He, Mighty is His Might, said: "Submit, and you shall be safe; and be content, and you shall be found pleasing."
