one month—thirty days. Hasten to him so you may see him. Your transition from your lands shall be in your homeland, and you shall return to here to be among this pure, purified group and ascend to the World of the Joiners, being in the neighborhood of the Lord of the worlds.'
I said to him: 'From where do you have the knowledge of that, and the knowledge of what you mentioned? How did you know Abu al-Maymun al-Hasan ibn Harun al-Samarrai? How did you reach the knowledge of that?'
The boy said to me: 'I am your Sheikh, Abu Abd Allah Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Madani. I was transitioned to this House in which I am after Allah honored, purified, and noble-ized it, and He favored me with it without hardship or fatigue; I found no pain. Praise be to Allah for what He favored me with of a good transition.'
Then he held me to his chest, kissed me between the eyes, and took my hand. He, I, and the righteous servant who was the cause of our arrival stood until we came to our Lord, the Lord of the Ship.
The boy said to him: 'O our Lord, fulfill Your promise and favor Your servant with what he has with You.'
He said: 'Board the ship.' We boarded, and it traveled with us westward in a great sea like a gale wind until we reached a great island. As we approached it, I saw pitched pavilions, fastened banners, planted spears, and horses grazing in a vast meadow.
I said to him: 'O my Lord, for whom are these horses?'
He said: 'These are for the Qā’im who belongs to the People of the House (al-Qā’im al-ladhī li-Ahl al-Bayt).' He called two of the horses, and they hurried until they boarded the ship.
He (Sabur) asked him: 'O our Lord, from which place will be the manifestation of the Qā’im Exalted Glory?'
