Allah said: “And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge”1. Would Allah forbid insulting the disbeliever and then order us to insult him?! This is an impossible report with no reality.'"
The King said: "You have related, O Shi‘a:
from Amir Al-muminin that he said: The world is the Paradise of the disbeliever and the prison of the believer."
My master said to him: "We have related from him that he said this report, and this report has an interpretation." He said to him: "And what is its interpretation?" My master said to him: "The prison of the believer in his world is to fulfill what is upon him, and it is a discipline for him and an expiation for the sin that preceded from him. The world only became the Paradise of the disbeliever so that he may be compensated in it for his righteous deeds until he leaves it having no good deed."
The King said: "Is there an interpretation and proof for it from the Book?" My master said: "Yes.
Allah said: “So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it”2. A questioner asked our Master al-Sadiq regarding the interpretation of the verse: “So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it”3. He said: Whoever among the disbelievers does an atom's weight of good will see it in their world; and whoever among the believers does an atom's weight of evil will see it in their world.
Indeed, the believer is compensated for his bad deeds in his world, so his livelihood becomes narrow, his illness long, and the seizing of his soul difficult during his Transfer, until he does not leave his world except having been compensated for his bad deeds, and his good deeds
