He said: "I stood up, took his hand, and brought him and his wife together. I spent my night in total joy. When morning came, I went to the place where we had been, but found no one there except Hubabah al-Walibiyya. I greeted her, and she returned the greeting and asked me about the youth. I informed her that I had brought him and his wife together. That pleased her, and she said: 'I would like to go to him and congratulate him on what he has attained and the blessing Allah has bestowed upon him.' I said to her: 'If you wish that, then proceed in the name of Allah and His blessing.' I stood up and she stood with me. I walked before her until we reached the house where my sister and the youth were."

"We entered the place and came to where they were. I found them in one bed, embracing; he clung to her and she clung to him as if they were a single body, his face to her face, his chest to her chest, and his mouth to her mouth. Hubabah lifted the cover from his face and said to him: 'A believer?' He said to her: 'At your service, O my Lady.' She said: 'And how long have you been in this state I see you in?' He said: 'From the moment I saw her.' She said: 'And at what time did you see her?' He said to her: 'After the final evening prayer.' She said: 'And you have been with her in this state you are in?' He said to her: 'Yes.' She said: 'Even though you know her rank, her path, and what she is upon?' He said to her: 'Even though I am aware of her Oppositeness, her rank, and her path.'"

"She said to him: 'O man! You drew near to us through faith, then you occupied yourself away from us with this state of affairs?' He said: 'She has descended into the highest place in my heart; she has possessed my heart and occupied me from every state, just as she has occupied my mind and core.' She said to him: 'You drew near to us through faith and mentioned you were of the brothers; but whoever has faith in him, there is no place in his heart for the Opposite. Then she threw the cover over his face and said: 'Fie upon you! You have brought that which is not befitting of the sincere believers.' Then she stood up, enraged with him.
