He says:{ '"And when your Lord took from the children of Adam—from their loins—their descendants and made them testify of themselves, [saying to them], 'Am I not your Lord?' They said, 'Yes, [we testify]'} ¹ . This occurred when they witnessed the Signs and the Sciences which He had promised them He would manifest to them, and through which He would establish proof over them. Thus they testified, lest they should say: '"{Indeed, we were unaware of this}"' ² —meaning, unaware of the manifestation of the Primordial Lord's Form among them, appearing just like their own forms."
