He, Glorified be He, has never ceased being witnessed throughout all Cycles and Eras (al-Akwar wa al-Adwar), neither changing, nor shifting, nor departing from His [essential] being. He is manifest through Luminosity. The fact that His elite folk have beheld Him throughout the Six Existences is a proof of the affirmation of the Essential Meaning (Al-Ma’na) through the Form which appeared to humans as a human, so that existence may be validated and direct vision established.

He says: Musa al-Kadhim (may His might be exalted) said: 'The first thing God tasked His servants with was saying to them: "Do not deny Me in whatever form I manifest."' Yet, He appeared in the human form and they denied Him; He only appeared to them like them as a mercy, a favor, and a grace... [leading] to his saying: 'So be subtle, just as He acted with subtlety toward the People of Light.'

He says: Divine Wisdom in bringing creation into existence was for the purpose of Gnosis (Ma'rifa) through His brilliant power, emanating from the manifest Visual Form.

He says: Among the believers, there are the common ('awam), the elite (khawas), and the elite of the elite (khawas al-khawas).
