From the Book " Al-Usayfir"

And in the book Al-Usayfir by the learned Sheikh, Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Shu’ba al-Harrani, the disciple of the Sheikh [al-Khasibi] (Peace be upon him)—and this entire book is founded upon the Gnosis of Eyewitness Existence (al-Wujud al-'Ayni).

He says: "Furthermore, they [the dissenters] shifted to speaking about the Visible Image, yet in their discourses, they referred to matters far removed from the intended purpose."

He says: "Verily, Allah is Eternal and Ancient, manifest through the Ultimate Goal, which is the Absolute Image (al-Surah al-Ahadiyya)."

He [al-Harrani] narrates: Abu ‘Abdillah Ja’far [al-Sadiq]—Exalted be His Might—was asked about the 'Difficult and the Demanding' (al-Sa'b al-Mustas'ab)?

He replied: "The Difficult is the Affirmation of the Visible Image; and the Demanding is the submission to it in servitude.
