except the White Return (al-Raj'ah al-Bayda') and the Radiant Recurrence (al-Karrah al-Zahra')."
"This is the Return of all returns, the Recurrence of all recurrences, and the [Final] Unveiling: the manifestation of the Meaning (al-Ma'na) from the eye of the sun in the Image of al-Anza' al-Batin and its attributes, with Dhu al-Fiqar in His hand."
"By His manifestation in the Muhammadan Dome as al-Anza' al-Batin, He intended [to show] the Image from which He never changes in any cycle (Kawr), era (Dawr), time, or moment. Rather, it is the hearts and visions that changed [their perception] of it, so that the proof might be established against creation, lest they say: 'We were called to that which we do not know.' And that is Justice from Him."
He [the Sheikh] says: The Scholar [the Imam]—Exalted be His Might—was asked: "O our Master, it is said that the Meaning (al-Ma'na) has manifestations that are Essential (Dhatiyya) and others that are Exemplary (Mithliyya)."
He [the Imam]—Exalted be His Might—replied: "Hush! (Mah). All manifestations of the Meaning are by the Essence (al-Dhat), not by examples or attributes. For examples and attributes are Muhammadan [belong to the rank of the Name], whereas the Eternal (al-Azal) never appeared in any cycle, era, age, dome, or creed except by the Essence: al-Anza' al-Batin, and He is the Manifest Truth."
