And he says: 'He cited these Hadiths so that your insight may increase regarding the truth of the Sheikh's [al-Khasibi] narration: that the Form is the Essence. Had the Form been 'other' than the Essence, they would never have known Him.'

And he says: 'The Anza'i Form is the Materia Prima of all Materiae (Hayula al-Hayulat), the Agent of all Effects (Fa'ilat al-Maf'ulat), and the Foundation of all Motions (Uss al-Harakat).'

And he says: 'But through the Essence, He appears as One and Unique (Wahid Ahad). Within this is proof of His manifestation through the Essence, not through any of the Attributes. Thus, the Form is the very Essence and the Inaccessible Unseen, as clarified in the Epistle.'

And he [the Sheikh] says: 'His saying, "He shows them the Essence," is proof that the Visual Form is the Inaccessible Unseen and the Concealed Treasure.'

And he says: '"And the Inward of Allah is an Unseen that cannot be perceived": This is for the sake of Transcendence (Tanzih)—to negate limitation and [intellectual] encompassment, and to sanctify the Form of Majesty (Surat al-Jalal) above [human] attributes and likenesses. It does not mean that the Inward and the Unseen are something other than the Witnessed Outward.'
