Visual Form; for the deniers were veiled from Her, even though She is Witnessed.'
And he says: 'The Sheikh [al-Khasibi] mentioned this principle in his Epistle ten times, emphasizing that the Inaccessible Unseen, the Ancient Essence (al-Jawhar al-Qadim), the Great Essence (al-Dhat al-'Uzma), and the Supreme Meaning (al-Ma'nawiyya al-Kubra)—is that very Form.'
And he says: 'The Trustworthy Youth (al-Shabb al-Tiqa)—peace be upon him—supported this statement, clarified the complexities of the Epistle, and proved beyond any doubt that the Visual Form is the Inaccessible Unseen and the Worshipped Meaning (al-Ma'na al-Ma'bud).'
And he says: 'He cited in the second chapter of The Inquiry and the Proof (al-Bahth wa al-Dalala) the saying of the Sheikh [al-Khasibi]—peace be upon him: "If someone asks: What is the proof of the Meaning and His manifestation through a Visual Form?"
We say: Had He not manifested through a Visual Form, His existence would not be established, nor would His Ocular Witnessing ('Iyanuhu) be valid, nor His [divine] constancy. Thus, may Allah brighten his face [al-Khasibi], he proved and emphasized that the Meaning manifests through a Visual Form."'
