And he says in his response to Sheikh Sulayman Isa Mustafa: 'Do you think that he who built his Epistle and the foundations of his doctrine upon the fact that the Form is the Goal and the Essence, would [then] place Her among these Dark Veils (al-Hujub al-Zulmiyya)? (Far be it from God, and I seek refuge in God!) For he says: Whoever makes the Meaning (al-Ma'na) other than Her—meaning, other than the Form—is like the Shurah [Kharijites] who disavow and curse Him, and the Nawasib who prefer others over Him.'

From His Epistles (Risalat), May God Sanctify His Soul:

He says in his epistles: 'The Sheikh mentioned that the Form is the Goal and the Essence. Whoever claims that its Outward is contrary to its Inward, or that the Meaning is other than it: is like the Shurah and the Nawasib who prefer others over Him and disavow Him.'

And he says: 'Had He not manifested in a Visual Form, His existence would not be established, nor would His Ocular Witnessing ('Iyanuhu) be valid.

And he [the Sheikh] says: 'The Visual Form is the Universal Goal; and She is the Inaccessible Unseen (al-Ghayb al-Mani')—that which is barred from [intellectual] encompassment and perception, not from existence and manifestation.'
