He spoke in the sense of an Anza'i Form

And sanctified it from the claims of those who deviate (al-Hada).

He says: 'Al-Anza' ' [outwardly] refers to one whose hair has receded from the sides of his forehead. Inwardly: As the Prince Hasan bin Makrun said in some of his prayers—peace be upon him: 'He is the one stripped (al-Anza') of [created] attributes, and replete (al-Batin) with that which transcends the perception of abstract intellects.'

He manifested to the sights of all creatures in a Form,

Represented in the Atom-world (al-Dharr); through it, He appeared."

He says: 'Manifested' (Tajalla) means appeared and became public; in the terminology of the Wayfarers (al-Salikin), it is an expression for the appearance of God’s Essence and His Attributes.

He [the seeker] saw Him through it [the Form] on the Day of Shadows (al-Azilla) manifest,

So His glory is in Truth, for whoever was glorified.

He says: He means that the Form through which we witnessed Him [now] is the very same one through which He manifested in the world of Shadows and the First Atom-world (al-Dharr al-Awwal); Exalted is He beyond ceasing or transformation.
